Your Responsibilities and Duties

• Identification and strategic planning of new market- and technical-trends
• Benchmarking of existing technologies relevant to our market
• Active participation in the development of functional specifications
• Design and development of demonstrators. Execution of tests during the demonstrator phase
• Follow-up of projects until implementation and roll-out of demonstrators internally and at customer sites
• Preparation of technical documentation for knowledge transfer and its preservation

Your Skills and Qualifications

• You have a PhD in physics or engineering, or completed Master’s degree in physics or engineering with a minimum of 2 years of activities in academic research or in industry
• You have a good methodology in analyzing signal to noise fundamental limits in mechanical, electronic, and optics/photonic circuitry
• You are skilled in approaching methodically novel technological concepts and frame them in mathematical language and modeling
• You are motivated building up and sharing your knowledge. Writing scientific and technical writing and communication skills are highly desirable
