Junior Accountant (all genders)
Your Responsibilities and Duties
- Ongoing business transactions: You will independently process financial accounting transactions, including vendor and customer invoices. In doing so, you will check their accuracy and ensure that they are properly processed and recorded in our systems.
- Processing credit card and travel expenses: You record and check credit card statements and our employees' travel expenses, ensuring that all information is in line with guidelines and correctly recorded.
- Processing payments: You make bank postings, manage our credit cards and take care of our payment transactions.
- Assistance with monthly and annual financial statements: In collaboration with our accounting team, you will help to prepare, review and finalize monthly and annual financial statements – a valuable opportunity to expand your knowledge of financial accounting.
Your Skills and Qualifications
- Completed commercial training or a degree with a focus on accounting, finance or a comparable field of study
- Initial work experience in the field of bookkeeping or accounting – for example through internships, working student jobs or a first permanent position
- Confident use of MS Office, especially Excel; experience with ERP systems is an advantage
- An affinity for numbers and analytical thinking: You work precisely, are detail-oriented and maintain an overview even when the workload is high
- You work independently and in a structured manner, and you are highly reliable and responsible.
- You have a strong sense of team spirit and communication skills: you enjoy working in a team and approach colleagues and external partners in a friendly and open manner.
- You have a good knowledge of written and spoken German and English, enabling you to work confidently in an international environment.
