You would like to gain experience in the Research & Development Cryogenics Instruments department of a fast-growing, medium-sized company in the high-tech industry? Your working hours will be flexible up to 20 hours/week, during which you will get an intensive insight into the activities of the team at our new location directly at the S-Bahn station Haar near Munich.

Your Responsibilities and Duties

  • Support of the R&D team Cryogenics Instruments in the development of novel measuring inserts at cryogenic conditions, as well as introduction of new measuring methods in the field of atomic force microscopy
  • Preparation, execution and evaluation of tests in the laboratory environment in consultation with the development team and associated assistance in the verification of prototypes

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • Enrolled student preferably in the field of physics, materials science, physical engineering, physical technology or similar
  • You enjoy putting your technical knowledge into practice and deepening it through exciting tasks
  • Sound fundamentals in the field of solid state physics and magnetism, as well as measurement and control technology desirable
  • First experience in automated data evaluation with LabVIEW, Python, or similar  
  • An independent and structured way of working and a quick grasp of new things
