„Enabling scientific impact“. As Sales Engineer Cryogenic Instruments at attocube you will support renowned scientists in conducting groundbreaking research. You will be the first point of contact for inquiries from our customers and interested parties from research institutions worldwide. After an intensive training period, you will be responsible for advising our customers on our Cryogenic Instruments product line at the highest technical level. You develop individual solution proposals and accompany our customers in the sales process up to the conclusion of the contract.

Your Responsibilities and Duties

  • First point of contact for our customers and interested parties from the scientific community with focus on our 
    Business Unit Cryogenic Instruments
  • Coordination of customer inquiries, analysis and evaluation of customer requirements and needs 
  • Contract negotiations and preparation of quotations 
  • Maintenance of customer contacts and customer relations 
  • Market analysis and lead tracking, market forecasting, development of new business areas and market opportunities  
  • Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events (travel between 15-25%) 
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the sales team and supporting technical expert teams 
  • Sales and product support for our sales partners and international distributors 

​​Your Skills and Qualifications

  • A completed Master's or PhD degree in physics, optics, mechatronics, mechanical engineering or similar 
  • Very good communication skills (written and oral) in German and English language  
  • An open personality with sales and negotiation skills, strong interest in sales psychology 
  • Open-mindedness for new and challenging tasks and situations 
  • Creativity in the implementation of ideas and result-oriented approaches to solutions
