Your main task will be to develop and implement highly complex signal processing algorithms for optical measurement systems and to design control and regulation elements for electromechanical precision drives. FPGA Developer (all genders) Algorithm Development


Your Responsibilities and Duties

  • Fascinating development projects: As an expert in the field of information technology, you will accompany our development projects and ensure the optimal FPGA implementation of the algorithms.
  • Precision, performance and real-time capability: Your guidelines for implementation are precision, performance and real-time capability. You work to ensure that our solutions not only work, but also meet the highest standards in terms of efficiency and speed.
  • Data collection and analysis: You are responsible for the collection and analytical evaluation of measurement data, which serves as the basis for the successful development, verification and validation of our algorithms. Your work ensures that our solutions are precise and reliable.
  • Requirements and framework conditions: You always keep an eye on requirements, specific framework conditions and feasibility. Through your careful planning and analysis, you contribute to the successful implementation of our projects.
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration: You will work closely with physicists, engineers and computer scientists (f/m/d) in a constructive environment. Your specialist knowledge and expertise will play a key role in ensuring that we are successful as an interdisciplinary team and can develop innovative solutions.

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • You have a degree in electrical engineering and information technology, communications engineering, computer engineering or a related field.
  • In addition, you have experience as a developer / development engineer in the field of research & development, preferably in an engineering environment.
  • You have extensive knowledge in programming FPGAs and are proficient in the MATLAB tool and the Simulink application for model-based development. Previous knowledge of AMD Vitis Model Composer, AMD Vitis HLS and VHDL / Verilog is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of AMD Kinetix and Zynq UltraScale + MPSoCs is also helpful.
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills are essential for our development projects.
  • A high degree of independence and diligence characterize your way of working.
