With its approximately 9,100 m2, the NanoFactory is more than just a building—it’s a vision of the potential and team spirit of all our employees.
Dynamic in its architecture and generous in its exterior spaces and modern, open offices, the NanoFactory even has a cafeteria that is open to the public. This all serves to further promote cooperation and exchange. Situated right next to the Haar S-Bahn station, the NanoFactory is a mere 18-minute train ride from the city center.

The NanoFactory offers a maximum amount of flexibility when it comes to where you spend your workday. WLAN is available throughout the building, so you get to choose whether to work at your workstation or in one of the open community spaces. Experience a modern, high-tech working environment and a warm, open atmosphere that provides the necessary spaciousness for the “spirit” of our international team. Lounge areas offer spaces for informal exchange, and a creative interior design supports the needs of the employees.

Soundproofed offices and think tanks offer the ideal conditions for focused individual projects and confidential one-on-one meetings. In our library you’ll find fully equipped plug-and-play work stations, relevant literature, and – pssst – no telephones.
Short distances, high efficiency.
To ensure lean processes and an optimal workflow, short distances were core considerations in the planning of the shop floor and test rooms. It’s our goal to manufacture as efficiently as possible and supply our customers as quickly as possible. The NanoFactory’s bright, open production hall with its adjacent labs and test rooms offers the ideal framework for exactly this.

Openness, transparency and expansiveness were the core elements of the building concept since innovation requires unconventional ideas, the courage to think beyond existing boundaries and a dynamic spirit. The NanoFactory brings all these elements together under one roof to offer space for new visions. In line with our focus on sustainability, the NanoFactory was built according to the very latest standards in low-energy building techniques.
Good food, good mood.
We know how much you love good, healthy food—and we do, too! The NanoFactory’s atomic kitchen allows you to experience freshness, variety and imaginative recipes in an informal atmosphere. Our “Genusszeit” caterer creates balanced, regional cuisine, providing us with breakfast and lunch from our own kitchen along with coffee specialties and cakes at the barista bar. And since attocube subsidizes the food, you can enjoy an excellent meal at a reasonable price. The bistro is equipped with WLAN, so it can also be used as a workspace during the day.
