Your Responsibilities and Duties

• Report creation and maintenance: You are responsible for creating and maintaining reports and dashboards that serve our specialist departments as a basis for well-founded decisions. You will use existing reporting systems and contribute new ideas for innovative solutions.
• Development and implementation of data warehouse and BI solutions: Based on the requirements of our specialist departments, you will build and implement company-wide BI solutions. You will primarily work with SQL, MS Reporting Services and Power BI or introduce new platforms or technologies as required.
• Independent implementation of BI projects: You advise employees, managers and management on the implementation of meaningful KPIs and reports. You take full responsibility from requirements analysis to implementation within the project framework.
• Database and ETL management: You develop and manage our databases and data models, optimize query performance and monitor the ETL routes. You will ensure that data quality and integrity are maintained and implement the necessary security and access mechanisms.
• Establishment of reporting standards: You introduce company-wide reporting standards and ensure that they are consistently adhered to. Orientation towards IBCS, for example, would be one possible approach.
• Training and support: You train our end users in the use of BI tools and support them with questions and problems.
• Managing external service providers: You coordinate and manage external service providers who are involved in the implementation of our projects and ensure that everything runs smoothly.

Your Skills and Qualifications

• You have a degree in (business) informatics or a comparable qualification and already have several years of relevant professional experience in the field of business intelligence.
• Your sound knowledge of MS-SQL, the development of ETL processes, the performance optimization of queries as well as security mechanisms and the administration of BI applications make you a real expert. You also feel at home in data warehouse design.
• You have a good understanding of business intelligence solutions and ideally already have experience of working with Power BI.
• Your strong skills in requirements analysis, data analysis and visualization enable you to carry out projects independently and successfully.
• With your strong consulting and service skills, you are convincing across the board. You express yourself excellently in business fluent German and have a sound knowledge of English.
• You enjoy analyzing complex issues and data. At the same time, you are motivated to maintain existing solutions and actively work on future-oriented developments.
