As Product Manager Cryogenic Instruments, you are responsible for the cryostats and measuring instruments of our Cryogenic Instruments product portfolio and determine its strategic direction. Product Manager Cryogenic Instruments (all genders)
Your Responsibilities and Duties
- Product responsibility for the product lines cryostats and measuring instruments in our Cryogenic Instruments product portfolio
- Market observation, competition analysis and systematic recording of customer needs in order to identify relevant trends in the product market at an early stage
- Development of a medium and long-term roadmap and vision for your product portfolio in close cooperation with our responsible Business Sector Cryogenic Instruments Manager
- Business case analysis of product improvements and new product ideas with a focus on relevant target markets
- Supervision and support of new product ideas as initiator within our Stage-Gate development process
- Planning and support of all marketing activities related to Cryogenic Instruments product lines
- Sales support by providing customer-oriented sales articles (supported by product administration), as well as technical advice
- Moderate travel activity to observe the market and competition
Your Skills and Qualifications
- Degree or doctorate in physics, materials science, nanotechnology or similar
- Good network and knowledge of current trends in low-temperature research as well as an overview of the competitive landscape
- Long-term experience with customer needs in the subject area through direct customer contact
- Ideally, initial experience in the areas of market research, requirements management, roadmaps, lifecycle management - knowledge of corresponding methods would be an advantage
- Very good analytical skills, proactive approach, fluent in German and English
- Enjoy interdisciplinary work and entrepreneurial thinking
